The fish was measured at 44 inches long with a girth of 22 inches \u2013 understood to be the heaviest caught in the Easter Ross river for 35 years \u2013 the 2019 winner of the prestigious Malloch Trophy.<\/span> <o:p><\/o:p><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>Mr Mitchell said: \u201cIt was a day of bright sun and unseasonably hot at 23C \u2013 very difficult fishing conditions.
