Welcome to Fairburn, a traditional sporting estate in the heart of the Scottish Highlands that has been in the stewardship of the Stirling family since the 1860's.

Presently, Fairburn Estate is managed and cared for by Peter and Charlotte Hingston. Fairburn consists of some 18,000 acres of farmland, cottages, forestry, deer forest, rivers and hill lochs. It is a working estate, providing employment to people in the County of Ross-shire, Scotland.

The estate aims to provide high quality sporting facilities, including fishing (on the River Conon and Orrin), stalking and shooting. The estate can also offer accommodation, when available, for long-term rent in its properties. It also produces firewood (soft and hard woods), wood for milling, milled wood, and provides access to some of Ross-shire’s most stunning scenery. There are crofts on Fairburn Estate, sometimes land and steadings are available for rent to local farmers.
